Pigment Blue 27 is a dark blue powdered pigment. It is soluble in solvents at room temperature but insoluble in water. It has good light, heat and chemical resistance. It is insoluble in water and soluble in acids and alkalis. There are two kinds of color light, cyan light and red light, with bright color, strong coloring power and slightly poor covering power. Powder is hard, not easy to grind. It can resist sunlight and acid, but it will be decomposed when boiled with concentrated sulfuric acid I. It is weak in alkali resistance, even dilute alkali can make it decompose. Cannot be shared with alkaline pigment. It starts to lose crystallization water when heated to 170-180 degree , and will burn and release hydrocyanic acid when heated to 200-220 degree . Except for a small amount of additives that can improve the performance of the pigment in the composition, it is not allowed to contain fillers, such as barium sulfate and calcium carbonate.
